After years of academic training, it is hard to imagine what life in the working world would be like and which career might be a good fit. This workshop will quick-start your journey towards your next career step by helping you assess what skills you already have, explore what you are looking for in a job and determine what the professional world has to offer.

  • What a Bioscience PhD is worth in the non-academic world
  •  Your professional strengths and personal preferences
  •  Your career vision
  •  Reality check – what are jobs really like
  • Your next steps

This workshop can be used to fulfill the requirement for participation in the Application Skills workshop.
